It was super uneventful today as well because guess what happened: It rained! CATASTROPHICALLY. Our phones were exploding with Weather Alerts and I somehow wound up as the divine translator for all of them, and all eyes would turn to me whenever our phones sang the morbidly cheerful alert that yet another district was being evacuated. It never called upon us though, and halfway through the day Tyler told us all that we weren’t actually in a Typhoon anymore but that we had evolved into a Hurricane! Me, Aaron, and Jacob had to rush through the pouring rain down to Fresco to buy Bread for breakfast and panko tori (Breaded chicken) to make totsukan for lunch. Totsukan is breaded pork cutlet, but the pork was too expensive. Somebody ate all 5 loaves of bread last night, so we had to go buy it again out of our own pocket. However were were able to get 3 loaves for only 4 dollars, but the loaves aren’t even close to american loaves. Each slice of bread is about two plates thick and only 5 come in a bag. Brandon and Maddie went off to a Ramen Shop, which they said was pretty good. They both got Miso Ramen. Later on that night we played a restaurant simulation game where I was waiter and I was the only one who used actual props. We also watched Your Name, which was a beautiful movie about a boy and a girl switching bodies and having to deal with it.
